Helping reduce energy consumption, BestFul Energy Solutions recently designed an energy saving lighting solution for the Village of Franklin Park's Public Library.  Through the implementation of LED technology, Bestful Energy helped the library achieve a 56 percent reduction in energy consumption.

 The project focused on ways to earn energy cost savings, enhance the lighting levels in the library to address concerns about poor quality lighting; reduce overall wattage usage; and use the "greenest" technology available in the marketplace.  BestFul Energy worked with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to secure approximately $19,000 in energy efficiency incentives toward the project by demonstrating the anticipated savings through the application of LED technology.

 After an extensive facility audit, Bestful Energy recommended an innovative LED lighting control system.  In addition to exceeding the principal need for enhanced lighting, the new system maximizes daylight harvesting technology, provides full dimmable controls and occupancy sensors.
